Plot twist… I’m usually the one behind the camera. 🤍
Stepping in front of it for these branding photos reminded me exactly how my clients feel. I found myself wondering what to wear, what to do with my hands, and whether I’d look natural. Then I remembered what I tell every family, couple, and mama who steps in front of my lens:
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to show up as yourself.
Looking through these photos, I realized they capture more than just a new headshot. They capture the heart behind this business and why I love what I do. Somehow, we’ve become a community of over 5,000 people. It’s such a surreal thing to think about because behind this little square on the internet is a dream that started with a camera, a whole lot of uncertainty, and a hope that maybe people would trust me with their memories.
Today, this business has become so much bigger than I ever imagined. I’ve had the privilege of photographing growing families, watching babies become big siblings, celebrating milestones, and meeting some of the kindest people because of this job.
That number 5,000 isn’t just a milestone to me. It represents every family who’s trusted me, every tiny newborn I’ve had the honor of photographing, every sunset we’ve chased, every recommendation you’ve shared, every kind comment you’ve left, and every person who’s chosen to follow along.
If you’ve ever booked a session, shared my work, recommended me to a friend, or simply been here cheering me on… thank you. Truly. You’ve helped build something that means more to me than you’ll ever know.
Here’s to continuing to tell your stories, creating photographs filled with genuine connection, and preserving the moments that matter most.
