Not the drone job I'm used to 🤷‍♂️
Sandwiched between a flurry of deer recovery calls since Saturday (7 calls Sat night to Wed night), I spent 5.5hrs on Monday at the Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative in Harrisonburg and a poultry farm in Churchville. CMC Industries is promoting a LARGE piece of mobile machinery used to load turkeys into trucks and filming footage for a product video. They reached out and hired me to capture drone footage for their marketing video.

⚠ EXPIRED DEER ⚠
Successful recovery in Rockingham late Sunday night. Received call from a former baseball teammate whose son shot a nice buck Sunday morning, probable single lung, no arrow recovered, bubbly blood. Bumped it once, then a second time Sunday evening. Backed out and contacted me. The second bump must've been the final adrenaline rush because it was located nearby but in VERY heavy thickets.

Received a call yesterday evening from this hunter who shot a nice buck just past Timberville on the Shenandoah County side, said he was referred to me from a retired TAHS teacher. I was on another call so it was several hrs before I got to him. Once located, they felt certain they probably wouldn't have located it because one, it was in some really thick stuff and two, it was approximately 150yds further away from where they anticipated. It was after 2am when we got out of there but everyone is happy! 🦌 😤

Just amazing... this time of yr can get hectic... sometimes it takes a subtle reminder like this... I was checking on a wounded deer the other morning, turned the drone around to come home and bam, the Valley's beauty right in front of me. No editing, no music, just Fall in the Valley!

👉 IMPORTANT 👈
If you're not following our SkyTrakr team from this shared post, please do so. We've incorporated a recovery request form you can submit straight from the field which immediately notifies our member closest to you. Obviously if you're following me and intend to contact me, I have you covered but if a friend or family member that's out of my area contacts you saying "hey you know anyone with a drone?" ... this is the benefit... the form will take about a minute to fill out and immediately notifies our member to help them! As always, thank you all for your continued support!

Lost or wounded deer? Fill this out and the closest drone recovery pilot in our network will be notified right away and contact you directly. Takes about 1 minute.

⚠ EXPIRED DEER ⚠
Hunter shot a nice buck in Albemarle County last evening, thought he hit it too far up front. Tracked it not far away where it was bedded and had clear view from neck up so put a second shot into neck. After it took off, heavy rain came so he backed out and requested a drone, concerned he may bump it. I responded this morning and was able to locate it expired about 100' from the woodline. He discovered his first shot was actually further back, rather than front.
The 4TD excelled in the rain!!
