The Beauty and wellness space is a fun industry to photograph. I loved being able to lean into a more fashion-photography style for Kate who is an esthetician and owner of Sanctuary Scalp + Skin in Fairfield. Pushing the envelope with dramatic lighting, edgier posing, and wardrobe choices that felt bold, made this a fun challenge and I love the results! In honor of my pre-Halloween adventure tonight, going to photograph strangers in costumes, I'm sharing this awesome set of images I created of the stunning from the summit this past Feb.

thanks for putting on the amazing experience. This was shot using four pavo tubes with a FC 300b (I think) as the main. I used my X100 V camera for these which give it that film vibe!

This isn’t the first doggo in the studio… but it might be the first I’ve shared! Thomas brought his pup in at the end of his branding session, and honestly? Total scene stealer.

If there’s something special you want to capture, a pet, bestie or family member, I’m always happy to make a little room for it. Sometimes those extra moments turn into the most meaningful images.
