Sure am thankful for this little life of mine and these people! I will be deactivating my Facebook and Instagram accounts this evening. Going off-line for a bit! I believe the Britani Edwards Photography page will remain active but I will not have access to that or to any social media messages until Spring! Signing out for a few months and going to take in all the family time I can. We will be hibernating for the winter and I am sooooo ready for it!

I will not be accepting any additional weddings for 2026 unless it’s an elopement or destination wedding. All other local weekends are currently booked up for family time. Our girl will be a SENIOR!!!! How is this possible!!?!? Please direct all inquiries to [email protected] .

Our hearts are absolutely broken to hear the news that our dear Santa Gene, has gained his wings! I had the privilege of photographing Santa with hundreds of families over the last 10 years, so many magical memories made!

Santa Gene wasn’t just a man who wore the red suit — he was the real Santa in every way that mattered. His warm smile, gentle heart, and the joy he brought to children and adults alike made the world feel a little more magical every Christmas. He made believers out of all of us.

Thank you, Santa Gene, for the magic, the memories, and the love you shared so freely. The world is a little dimmer without you, but heaven gained the real Santa today. ❤️🎄✨

Rest in peace, Santa Gene. You will always live on in the hearts of those you touched.

Hi, friends! Thanks so much to everyone who came out for photos last weekend! And MANY thanks to The Enchanted Swan for allowing us to host our holiday mini's at their beautiful venue.

Once galleries are all delivered, I will be taking a nice long break until Spring. I will be deactivating my personal page and my IG page. I think the business page will still show (b/c it did las time), but I will not be checking any social media or messages until Spring. Please direct all inquiries to [email protected]

I am only taking on a few weddings for 2026 and as now, I am fully booked (unless we were already in the planning stages). Carley & Patrick's wedding day was one for the books! Seriously, the BEST day! They decided to do a first look, followed by all formal photos (including family formals) before ceremony. This meant after ceremony, they were completely finished with all formal shots and were able to join their family & friends for cocktail hour! This was such a great way to get all the formal shots knocked out before ceremony & gave them more time to be present at their celebration!

The three of us headed to the overlook and there, they exchanged hand written vows! It was SO GOOD! I was a nervous wreck out on the cliff, but hey, gotta do what it takes to get the shot! Also got to work with some amazing vendors for the day!

What a great day this was! My husband & his crew built a brand new, GORGEOUS wedding venue in Bridgeport, WV. I couldn't wait to gather up some of my vendor friends, to help promote this new venue and their talents! I made a post a while ago, asking any vendor friends who wanted to participate in this content day and I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I had many of them reach out!

I have been blessed to work with many amazing vendors over the years and I am so excited to share some images that I captured from our content day. If you are looking for a wedding venue, floral designer, hair & make up (dream) team, videographer, wedding & event rentals, wedding gown, mobile bar, charcuterie board/ grazing table then look no further! I seriously can't recommend these vendors HIGHLY enough! 10/10 recommend! Also, many thanks to our beautiful models, Brooklyn Dulaney + Austin & Marissa Bailey! ❤

Since it’s , figured it was the perfect time to share a few favorites from Addison’s senior shoot! She is absolutely stunning and such a natural in front of the camera!

We traveled to favorite place to capture these special moments! I don’t offer many senior sessions but when Abby reached out inquiring about a trip to SC for senior photos, I was excited, on board and it was an immediate yes for me! We love to travel, and we were also able to spend time with some of our best friends while we were there! 🫶

Hi, friends! As you can tell, it's been very quiet around here. I took a 6 month social media cleanse, that also consisted of a 6 month photography break. It was a wonderful way to recharge! Life is crazy, we have 2 kids in school, sports & I also work full time as well, so that leaves me little to no free time at all... And I am just trying to enjoy all the free time I can with my family, because the days go by so quick!

I am still shooting weddings and a very limited amount of other sessions at this time. I am fully booked for 2025 for all types of shoots (other than my holiday minis that I will reach out to everyone in the VIP group with details, still unsure rather I want to look for another Santa this year or just stick with regular holiday family/children set).

I will only be taking on 5 weddings for 2026 and 3 of those are already booked.. So if you are intereted in booking your 2026 wedding, please feel free to reach out via email: [email protected] , my website is down at this time.

Finally getting around to sharing some of my favorites from this wonderful families session! My heart couldn't be any more happy that Leslie has met the man of her dreams and he loves her beautiful girls as if they were his own! She has a best friend and a partner for life with Steven! Hi, friends! Hope everyone is doing great! Things have been quiet around here, so figured it was time to share a little of what I've been up to this year. Due to still working a full time job at the hospital, my kiddos in sports, school and everything in between, my availability is very limited. And the winner of our 2024 crying santa contest is Miss Amelia with 597 votes! We had another close one as well, the Cutright sisters with 571 votes!

Miss Amelia will win a free session with us next year, and the Cutright sisters will receive a $50 credit towards their session!

I can't hardly believe I am even posting this! It's CRYING SANTA CONTEST TIME!!!! Where has 2024 went?!

I know several of you have been anxiously awaiting! It's time for our annual crying Santa photo contest! This November marked year 9 that we have been hosting photos with the REAL SANTA, Santa Gene! Some love him and some, well... not so much LOL!

Each year, we host a contest for the best crying photo and the photo with the most votes wins a free session with us the following year. Show some love & vote for your favorite crying photo! (Don't mind the low quality, facebook killed the image quality on some of them)
