New Year's Release: Bremerton, WA - As Almost Candid (AC) approaches 15 years into its 5-year business plan, I am proud to announce an agreement to fully transfer the AC Framing business to my long-time framer and friend, Amanda Carter, during the course of Q1 of 2025. This decision has been a long time coming and will allow the custom framing business to move forward with new vibrance and vision as I continue to pursue photography with greater focus.
Amanda began her journey with AC Photo & Frame when we were located in Kingston before the COVID-19 closures. After the business relocated to Bremerton, she rejoined the team and has since been the design and framing leader. Amanda is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has been a Bremerton resident for five years, where she and her husband are currently remodeling a 1930s Tudor-style home. Together, they share their lives with a dog, a cat, three chickens, and a quail.
I am confident that Amanda's expertise and friendly spirit will lead to great achievements in the trade, and I am excited to see how the business will grow under her leadership.
Please note that these changes will necessitate adjustments in operations. Amanda and I will keep you updated with regular announcements as we progress. To all the many customers, friends, and fans of Almost Candid, I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me for your projects. Your support has been rewarding in countless ways. Amanda and I look forward to continuing our journey with you as we define the future together.
