This couple reached out to me about doing their elopement and I could just tell from the first message they were going to be fun and laid back, between the pink designer dress and the dogs and the view! Hello! 👋 I haven't done a little introduction in a long time so I thought I'd do so. I'm Bre, and I've been a wedding and portrait photographer in Kitsap County since 2012. Blows my mind to even say that! My love for photography started young, when I borrowed my parents point-and-shoot (Probably an early Sony CyberShot...) and started to take pictures of anything and everything. Eventually, that blossomed into doing photos for the school yearbook, between sports games and candid photos in the hallways on spirit days, to offering senior photos to fellow classmates. When it came time to choose what we wanted to look at for college, I had one desire, and that was to pursue photography. So off I went right after high school to get my degree in photography. That led to so many opportunities! And meeting so many amazing people, from wonderful clients to spectacular wedding vendors and colleagues. Now to the important part, why I love to do this: life is chalked full of love, and loss, and changes. Recording the memories is priceless, to have them to look back on, and pass along stories and history. It isn't about one hour, or one day- it's about preserving memories.
Lots of learning, practicing, planning, and coffee got me here today, and there's much more to come! 📸

About the Photographer

Hello!

I am a professional photographer in the Kitsap County area, specifically Bremerton. I offer portrait sessions, wedding photography, and unique headshot sessions. My love of photography started with my dad letting me use the family film camera, and forwarding onto getting my hands onto any other camera we owned, until I saved for my first DSLR in the 12th grade. I couldn’t think of anything else I’d rather do for a career, so despite many people telling me it would be hard, I went on to college very shortly after graduation to get my associates degree in photography from the Art Institute of Seattle.

I’ve been in the photography field since 2012, both owning my business and working in the field. I was previously a full-time photographer for a company for 4.5 years photographing events, portraits and more, I’ve edited e-commerce images for Nordstrom Corporate, been a Seattle fashion photographer’s assistant and have been published in multiple online and print magazines and websites. I would describe my photography style as rich and colorful, lighthearted & naturally posed; I find great backgrounds and light to place you in and gently guide posing, while striving to catch those priceless in-between moments.

More importantly, I have worked with many, many unique clients since I opened business in 2012; coming up on 50+ weddings photographed, and over 200 clients! I run a licensed & insured business in the State of WA. I am an LGBTQ friendly vendor. And I am so excited to meet you!
