The Labor Day weekend is almost over and the prettiest season in the Valley is almost here!

I look forward to Fall Family Sessions all year! We’ll walk, play, snuggle, and explore—and somewhere in between, we’ll capture the kind of moments you’ll want to remember long after the leaves are gone.

Mama, get in the picture.
I know you're usually the one taking them.
Your camera roll is probably filled with photos of your kids. Photos of Dad with the kids. Birthday mornings, vacations, sleepy snuggles, ordinary Tuesdays and a thousand little moments you never want to forget.
But how many of those photographs have you in them?
Someday, your children won't be looking for the perfect outfit or wondering whether you loved your hair that day.
They'll be looking for YOU.
The way you held them. The way they looked at you. The way you laughed together. The version of you they remember being right there in the middle of everything.
So mama, step into the frame.
You are part of the memory, too.

Can we just talk about that little dimple for a minute?
The wispy hair. The sleepy eyelashes. The tiny fingers tucked beneath her chin. Those perfect little lips.
There are so many tiny details in the newborn days that you swear you'll remember forever.
And then they grow.
That's one of the reasons I love photographing this season so much—not just what your baby looked like, but all the little things that made them completely, wonderfully them.

When it’s your first birthday…but your sisters understood the assignment.

Cake? ✔️
Frosting everywhere? ✔️
Big sisters volunteering for cleanup duty? ✔️

There is something so much fun about first birthday sessions—especially when siblings get in on the action.

These three understood one thing very clearly:
No frosting gets left behind.

Your kids don’t have to be perfectly still for beautiful family photos.
They don’t have to smile on command. They don’t have to look at the camera the entire time. And they certainly don’t need to know exactly what to do.
In fact, some of my favorite photographs happen when we simply let kids be kids.
We’ll play. We’ll move. We’ll snuggle. We’ll laugh. And yes, we might swing someone through the air a few times.
Because my goal isn’t perfection.
It’s to capture the connection, personality, and joy that already exist in your family.
So if you’ve ever worried that your little ones might be too busy, too shy, or just not interested in posing for photos - please don’t.
Bring them exactly as they are.
I’ll take care of the rest.

There’s a whole little person you already know… but haven’t met yet.
You know when they’re awake.
You know where those tiny feet like to kick.
You know the rhythm of their hiccups and the way they seem to come alive just as you’re trying to fall asleep.
You wonder whose eyes they’ll have, what their little voice will sound like, and what it will feel like to finally hold the person you’ve been carrying all these months.
Pregnancy is such a beautiful in-between; waiting to meet someone who has already become such a huge part of your world.
And maybe that’s why I love maternity photographs so much.
They’re the very first photographs of your story together.

Here’s the good news: they don’t have to.

Newborn sessions are designed around your baby—not the other way around. There’s time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, snuggles, and all the little breaks your baby needs.
And parents, you don’t need to know what to do either. I’ll guide you through everything—from where to put your hands to how to hold your baby—so you can simply relax and soak in this tiny season.
Because creating beautiful newborn photographs shouldn’t be one more thing for new parents to worry about.
You bring the baby. I’ll take care of the rest.
