Hi! I’m Rachel Erin. The one behind the lens. Here’s a little *about me* to feature on this feed!
I grew up on the beaches of Florida’s gulf coast and received my BA in Studio Art and Environmental Science from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. A place that instilled lasting friendships, love, global travel and a fantastic liberal arts education experience.
Colorado’s great Rocky Mountains has been home for the past 13 years. I am a travel + adventure seeker, live music + art lover, alpine skier + yogi, culinary arts enthusiast, amateur birder and a book worm. I am based in the highest of altitudes- just outside historic Breckenridge with my 10 year old golden retriever Louie (from Louisiana) and my precious growing family.
Photography has always been a huge passion of mine. I started out in my high school darkroom using my Dad’s Nikon film camera from the 80’s. I have come a long way with some of the best professional guidance and experience and now rely on my Canon 5D Mark III and various portrait lenses for digitals. I specialize in candid portraiture in the great outdoors. I enjoy capturing special moments, genuine feelings and beautiful people with a photojournalistic approach... because we all have a story to tell. Nature, golden hour light and unique angles inspire me to create beautiful images. I hope to meet you soon to capture your special moments and milestones.
