Big progress at the house in Breckenridge, CO 🏔️
The family was all on site for this one. Behind the house, Tina, Liam, and Laken helped prep for seed, shape a dry river bed, and place rocks to help manage snow and roof runoff. It’s been great having everyone pitching in as the exterior details start to take shape.
Inside, Denver Glass Interiors installed the glass shower doors, which instantly made the bathrooms feel finished. Electrical work continued throughout the home with outlets, switches, recessed lighting, and breaker tie-ins moving forward. On the deck, heaters were installed outside the master bedroom — a spot we’re really looking forward to using in the winter to watch wildlife out back.
Outside, Justin from Summit Digs continued bringing in topsoil and wrapping up rock work around the ADU, while the driveway was layered with road base in preparation for asphalt. Tile work in the ADU kept moving forward as well, with grout going into the kitchen backsplash and large-format bathroom tile.
You’ll also catch moments with the whole crew — Tina in front of a massive slash pile from fire mitigation, Liam checking out the lower-level shower that will serve as Dad’s office suite, painters finishing the entryway and garage, and our first look at the modern kitchen chandelier. Other highlights include a new garage sink, a separate hot/cold hose bib, first views into the crawl space, and trenches dug for the whole-home generator.
