Someone asked me if I’m still a photographer… and I had to laugh.
I didn’t stop, I just stopped posting on Facebook for 2+ years. 😂

So here you go: some of the jaw-dropping Bali portraits I shot this past May while photographing a powerful, soul-cracking women’s retreat.

This summer is going by so quickly! Filled with so many photo sessions, laughter and love!

This week I had the honor of photographing another amazing photographer, Kelsey! She was on vacation with her family in Tamarindo, Costa Rica and this was my first family beach session. We had such a blast! Such a beautiful family!!!!!!!!

I’m quite late to posting all of my fall photos… we got our first snow fall of the year yesterday! The summer and fall are my favorite times of the year! I photographed this family 5+ years ago and to have them back in front of the camera was amazing! I love seeing all of my clients grow up… it happens so fast!

Last year, these two beautiful ladies lost their mother to cancer. I have been photographing them for a total of three years and their family is absolutely incredible. Brent is an amazing father and so I wanted to make sure in this session we did something special to remember Meg by. The girls both wore a necklace given to them by their momma. These girls are filled with the light and love of Meg and I hope to continue to photograph this wonderful family for years to come.

I did not know Meg very well but I do know she was an incredible mother who loved her family fiercely. She will be missed forever but never forgotten.

So much love within this beautiful family! As I was helping everyone get ready for the session, Bodhi (the little boy in the portraits) said "Alisa, I really love you."

My heart melted then and there. I will always have a space in my heart for this gorgeous family.
