📍Breckenridge : great spot for views without the long drive. Tons of hiking and pull up spots.
Why it’s a fav: love the versatility of Breck. You can hike, drive up to spots with a short walk, have killer sunrises on the mountains, ski in the winter and the town itself has some fun shops and food
📍Crested Butte : amazing spot for wildflowers and mountain views. Not to mention the fall is gorgeous there as well.
Why it’s a fav: besides the obvious of wildflowers, I love how authentic the town itself is. There is also so much to explore
📍Ouray : holy s**t views, jeep capital, and waterfalls not too far away (Telluride). Tons of hiking into basins and overlooks and wildflowers in the summer. Red mountains and a reason the call it the Switzerland of America!
Why it’s a fav: the San Juan and San Miguel mountains are just unreal with so much adventurous stuff to offer. Definitely worth a multi day elopement. Plus the little surrounding towns are worth a visit
📍Steamboat Springs : total western charm with the rodeo and open valleys. Horseback riding, lakes, and the cutest town. Also, it’s such an underrated spot!
Why it’s a fav: because it’s underrated, you won’t be having the same experience as anyone, which is so special. The hot springs is a must while you’re there and if you’re wanting western themes, this is your place!
📍Boulder County : great spot without much of a drive and some hidden gems that aren’t talked about much. Boulder itself has so much food options, shopping and lodging.
Why it’s a fav: it’s a closer option with hiking, overlooks and great for other guests traveling as well. Great spots for sunset!
