Three years. Three sessions. One family who has been there since the very beginning. 🤍

2021 → 2022 → 2026

This family was one of the first handful of clients I photographed when I was just starting out. And now, years later, they’re still trusting me to capture their family.

That means more to me than I could ever put into words.

Looking at these photos side by side is such a special reminder of just how much has changed. Their family has grown and changed, but so have I. My photography, my editing style, the way I pose families, and the way I see and capture moments have all evolved so much since that first session.

I honestly love being able to look back at where I started. Not because every photo was perfect, but because those early sessions are part of the reason I am where I am today.

To the families who have stuck with me through the years, trusted me through every stage of my growth, and continue to choose me to document your memories: thank you. 🤍

Getting to grow alongside the people in front of my camera is one of the greatest gifts this little business has given me.

A new name, but the same love for telling your stories. 🤍

After nearly 7 years of Alexa Jaylyn Photography, I’ve decided it’s time for a new chapter: The Geitman Edit.

When I started this little business, I never could have imagined how much it would grow or how much I would grow alongside it. Six years of families, couples, weddings, milestones, tiny moments, big moments, and countless people who trusted me to freeze pieces of their lives in time.

Alexa Jaylyn Photography will always hold such a special place in my heart. It was where I started, where I learned, where I made mistakes, where I found my style, and where I discovered just how much I love this work.

But I’ve changed. My photography has changed. My vision has changed. My life has changed.

And it feels right for my business to grow with me.

The Geitman Edit is a reflection of this next season, more intentional, more refined, more me. A collection of the moments I get to witness and the stories I get to preserve, all through my own little edit of the world.
