Getting to second shoot this stunning New Orleans wedding was such a dream.

First of all, working with the incredible Nellie Bradford was so much fun! I’ve second shot fewer than five weddings in my 15+ years of photography, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect or how it would feel not being the lead photographer. I was completely blown away by Nellie from start to finish. Watching her seamlessly capture Super 8 footage, shoot with multiple film cameras, and still create beautiful digital images throughout the day was honestly fascinating. She handled everything with such ease, and it was obvious how much everyone loved the experience she created.

These are just a few of my favorite images that I photographed and edited, and I couldn’t be more obsessed with every little detail from this perfect day.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over her dress, and getting to photograph at one of my dream venues absolutely did not disappoint. Guests had flown in from all over the world, and it was so much fun watching so many different cultures come together to celebrate in true New Orleans style. It was one of those weddings I’ll be thinking about forever.

Last week I had this crazy idea to move our clawfoot tub right into the middle of the wildflower field in our front yard. Michael definitely thought I’d lost my mind.

But I had a vision...
And this gorgeous mama absolutely exceeded my expectations with this fun shoot yesterday.
Without a doubt, this was the dreamiest mommy & me session I’ve ever photographed.

I am SO excited to start offering Wildflower Bath Mini Sessions and see all the beautiful moments we get to create in this dreamy little setup.

I can already picture maternity, bo***ir, motherhood, and milestone sessions here. The possibilities are endless.

I have tons of beautiful lace (like we used below), wraps, and flowing fabrics you can use, but I’m always up for bringing your own ideas to life too!

Had the idea to move my clawfoot tub in the middle of the wildflowers yesterday and talked Jesse Kate into modeling for me! Im so in love with the outcome and so excited to play with this idea more! If anybody is interested in booking flower bath mini sessions let me know!

I've never offered sessions quite like these before!

The idea of micro sessions has always stressed me out, but after photographing 27 families in the field at Country Kitchen in one hour on Friday, I feel confident I can easily create a beautiful gallery in just a few minutes.

These sessions are designed to give you gorgeous golden-hour images without the Louisiana heat getting the best of you. Hair and makeup stay fresh, little ones stay happy, and you'll still receive a gallery full of candid and posed images.

🌻 QUICK QUESTION FOR ALL MY GONZALES FAMILIES 🌻

My parents’ restaurant, Country Kitchen Gonzales, has a little sunflower field in the parking lot and I’ve been thinking…

Would anyone be interested in a FREE quick family photo if you come eat dinner there next Friday night?

Here’s what I’m thinking:
📸 1 quick family photo on your phone
📸 A few quick shots with my camera
🌻 Taken right in the sunflower field in the parking lot
🍽️ Only requirement is you’re there for dinner

No mini session, no stress—just a 1-minute stop for a simple family photo while you’re already out eating. I would edit and upload the pictures to one gallery and downloads would be free!

If there’s enough interest, I was thinking I’d set up from 6:30–7:30 PM.

Trying to help get some more business on Friday nights and love this idea of getting to see some past clients and any local families! So give me all the feedback if I should put this plan into action!

Forgot I even took these last week. I thought it was going stop raining right at sunset so I decided to get the kids dressed and put on our rubber boots for a few pics. It did NOT stop raining but decided to just put the tripod out and attempt a few pics anyways. By the time we started my hair was a wet mess and it was almost 8 pm! This was no where near the vision I had but posting anyways and will eventually fix my hair one evening and attempt some more pics bc I really do have a whole vision with the rain boots!

Finally some updated pictures to hang in the house as a family of four!

Now to just somehow narrow down and decide which ones to print on canvases.

Thanks for for taking these for us with my camera so I could edit them! I love them so much.

Also love that we took these on my birthday a fun memory and trip I will never forget! We went to eat sushi for dinner, went for ice cream after and then rushed to the beach as the sun was setting.
