Atchafalaya Swamp Visitors Center is an interesting stop in the middle of the I-10 corridor through the Atchafalaya Swamp.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, lots of brochures & pamphlets, clean rest rooms and some neat diorama and artifacts.

I had been to this park a few years ago, but never documented my adventure. Went back after they did some work to the park (mainly RV, Cabins & roads). Did some tent camping, cooking, hiking and most importantly relaxing.

I'm not 100% sold on my new tent, the OneTigris HillRidge. The ridge is at a 90° angle compared to my Backwoods Bungalow and seems to have limited headroom.
But, the covered "vestibules" are a plus for storing gear from weather and prying eyes.
