An afternoon spent at The Swan House is an afternoon well spent 🦢✨ The Swan House was made for photographs that feel like they could belong to another time.

Grand architecture, quiet corners, and the kind of Atlanta backdrop that gives a historical elegance.

Now taking on 3 more weddings for 2027 ✈️

A little throwback to Puerto Vallarta last October. Warm nights, ocean air, and one of those places that still feels dreamy almost a year later.

Looking at the year ahead, 2027 is already taking me to so many new places, and I genuinely cannot wait for the stories I’ll get to document along the way.

There’s something extra special about getting to experience a place for the first time while telling someone else’s story there. Here’s to more stamps in the passport, beautiful celebrations, and a whole lot of photographs. 🤍

There are moments I photograph that I know, even as they’re happening, will change the way I see weddings.

This was one of them.

Her mom reached over and held her hand while she was getting her makeup done. It was quiet and completely unprompted—the kind of gesture that happens so naturally between two people who have loved each other for a lifetime that no one else in the room may have even noticed.

But I did.

And I remember thinking about how many times that hand must have reached for hers before this day. As a little girl. Through growing up. In moments when she needed comfort, reassurance, or simply to know her mom was there.

And now, on the morning she became a bride, her mom reached for her all the same.

It struck me then, and it has stayed with me since. A wedding day holds so much more than what is happening right in front of us. There are entire histories tucked into the smallest gestures between the people you love.

Those are the photographs I never want to miss.

Because sometimes the smallest moment in a gallery is the one that, years from now, holds the most.

I have held myself back from posting dance floor photos long enough. Because honestly I would post them every day if I could 🤣 I just love the energy and personality that comes out when everyone is packed on that floor celebrating you!

Annie and Jon, somewhere between a little direction and a lot of room to just be themselves.

The Golf Club of Georgia gave us the kind of backdrop that makes portraits feel instantly elevated, but these still feel like them—relaxed, connected, and never overworked.

Beautiful portraits don’t have to come at the expense of actually enjoying your wedding day.

The best style has a point of view.

A vintage-inspired dress with thoughtful, meaningful details. A groom who stepped outside the expected with what he chose to wear. Small decisions throughout the day that felt personal rather than prescribed.

That’s what I love about photographing fashion this way—not simply documenting what was worn, but noticing the creativity, history, and personality behind it.

Because the most beautiful details are usually the ones that tell you something about the people who chose them.

A ceremony is never only about what happens at the altar.

It’s the space you chose to hold it. The anticipation before it begins. The people who have loved you separately, gathered together in one place. The glance across the aisle, the faces in the crowd, the reactions happening a few rows back.

For this part of the day, the whole story is in the same room—and so much of what makes a wedding feel distinctly yours is happening all at once.

Beauty has depth when it’s rooted in truth.

And sometimes the truest photographs happen before anyone has walked down the aisle.

The room still scattered with bags and coffee cups. The people you love coming and going. Someone fastening a dress, finishing the flowers, or standing nearby simply because there was nowhere else they would rather be.

Getting ready photographs give the beautiful portraits that come later somewhere to belong. They hold the people, the place, and the small pieces of real life surrounding it all.

Because a wedding gallery shouldn’t only show you how beautiful your day was.

It should tell you why it mattered.
