Bonnie and Clyde Days – Reed Springs, Missouri – October 24, 2026

Yesterday I shared the video of the Bonnie and Clyde shootout reenactment. Today I wanted to share a few photos from the event! Taney County Sunset – October 22, 2026

Caught another beautiful sunset here in Taney County last night. Those bright reds and oranges stretched across the sky, with purple clouds overhead and a golden glow reflecting on the water below. The hills were settling into shadow, but there was still plenty of color to enjoy above them. Hope you enjoy this little look at sunset in the Ozarks!

Sunset over Lake Taneycomo, Forsyth October 20, 2026

Caught this view of Lake Taneycomo from the overlook on Y Highway in Forsyth last night at sunset. The soft pink clouds, the orange glow along the horizon, and the reflections on the calm water made for some pretty nice scenery. This panoramic view takes in the lake winding around the Ozarks hills. A peaceful view to end the day.

Beaver Creek Park – Kissee Mills, Missouri – October 2026

I'm one week into an eight-week treatment for a serious illness that, left untreated, was terminal. It was getting a little scary, especially without health insurance. Thankfully, I was finally able to obtain the medication through the manufacturer's patient assistance program, and treatment is underway.

But as a result, I have been a bit under the weather, so the other day my lady and I decided we needed to get out of the house and take a peaceful little drive through the Ozarks.

We ended up at Beaver Creek Park near Kissee Mills, on Bull Shoals Lake. I hadn't been down there since the severe flooding this past spring and wanted to see how things were looking.

It's such a beautiful, peaceful area for fishing, camping, boating, or just enjoying the scenery. Of course, I had my drone along, and with the beautiful weather and fall colors beginning to show, I couldn't resist capturing a few pictures! These two shots show the marina and campground surrounded by the beautiful Ozarks hills. Sometimes a short drive, a little fresh air, and some beautiful Ozarks scenery are just what you need!

Indian Point and the Many Boat Slips of Table Rock Lake

I was flying around the Indian Point area of Table Rock Lake yesterday and captured these views of one of the busiest boating areas on the lake. It is amazing just how many boat docks and slips are tucked away in the coves and along the shoreline here.

From up above, you really get a different perspective of just how much this area has to offer. The winding coves, wooded hillsides, marinas, and seemingly endless boat slips make for some pretty interesting scenery. And when you look beyond Indian Point, you can see Table Rock Lake stretching for miles into the beautiful Ozark hills. We are just starting to see some fall color showing up in the trees, and in another couple of weeks this whole area should look quite different!

What a beautiful day for the Grape & Fall Festival in downtown Hollister!

I try not to post more than once a day at the most. But today I got the drone up to capture a few shots of all the activity along Downing Street. From above, you can really appreciate the colorful vendor tents lining the street, the crowds enjoying the festivities, and the unique old English-style architecture that gives downtown Hollister so much of its charm.

I included a couple of closer views along with a wider shot that shows just how beautiful the setting is, tucked into the Ozark hills. It's always nice to see our local communities come together for events like this, especially on a beautiful fall day!

A Beautiful Day for a Wedding at Integrity Chapel – Ridgedale, Missouri

I had the opportunity to capture this wedding at Integrity Chapel in Branson recently from a little different perspective.

What a beautiful setting for a wedding! With the chapel nestled among the trees, the wedding ceremony taking place on the lawn, and Table Rock Lake stretching out in the background, it was quite a sight from above.

One of the things I enjoy about drone photography is being able to capture scenes like this that you just can't appreciate quite the same way from the ground. The Ozarks certainly have some beautiful places to celebrate a special day!

Silver Dollar City's New Resort in Progress. How’s is this for a room with a view?

The new Silver Dollar City Resort is taking shape in Branson West, just minutes from Silver Dollar City. I captured these aerial views on October 3 to show the construction progress, and the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake stretching out behind it. From the publicly available information, the 262-room resort is scheduled to open in 2027. It is, I believe, the first project in Silver Dollar City’s $500 million, 10-year development plan. There’s still a lot of work to be done before it opens , but you can already get a good look at what’s coming. Would you stay here for a Silver Dollar City getaway?
