Carl Schurz Park, on the east side of NYC, has a way of giving families a little breathing room—river views, open paths, and just enough distance from the pace of the city. 😊

I met Chris and Caitlin there with their children, William and Rosemary, on a beautiful afternoon. William was a burst of three-year-old energy, while Rosemary snuggled in and observed, taking everything in. It was easy, fun, and exactly what this stage of life looks like. 🥰

There’s a short window when your family feels like this—before it shifts again. Having it documented, clearly and honestly, matters more with time. 🥰

Each summer, I look forward to photographing Koren, Jacob, and Charlotte. I love that they have picked the beaches of the Hamptons for their session the last few years. The lighting before sunset and the pristine beaches of the Hamptons make for an ideal location. 😎

Watching Charlotte grow over the years is always a quiet reminder of how quickly things shift. What once looked like rides on Jacob’s shoulders has naturally evolved into him spinning her through the air, her confidence and personality shining through. 🤩

I’m always drawn to the ease this family brings to a session—nothing forced, just genuine connection and fun! For me, that’s where the most meaningful images live. These are the moments that will inevitably change, but having them documented now allows you to return to this exact stage of life, exactly as it felt. 🥰

Tod’s Point in Greenwich is always a favorite—beautiful light, open space, and plenty of room for kids to just be kids. This family made it easy. The kids were full of personality, and the whole session felt relaxed in the best way. Christina, Roddy, Caroline, and Louisa were amazing to photograph! 🥰

When children are little, everything changes quickly. The way they smile, how they interact, even how they fit in your arms—it all shifts before you realize it.
