"There’s a moment in the early morning when everything ahead feels dark, uncertain, and heavy; yet, if you turn around, you’ll see the sunrise breaking—soft, beautiful, and full of promise."
For a short time, you can see both.
And it’s tempting to keep looking back at the light behind you with the comfort, the clarity, the proof that God was there. But we aren’t meant to walk backwards. The beauty behind us is a reminder, not a destination.
“He leads me…” (Psalm 23)
Even in the valley, even in the shadows ahead, He is guiding every step. The light you saw behind you wasn’t just for that moment, it’s the same light that will meet you ahead.
So don’t stay turned around too long.
Trust the Shepherd. Keep moving forward.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want…
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” Psalm 23
The darkness in front of you is not the end of your story. The light is already on its way to meet you there.
