We got to hang my prints in downtown Sioux Falls today, in large format. They asked if I would provide the story behind each image, which meant a lot to me. I showed my work in a featured artist gallery a couple of years ago. People gathered around to hear about each image, why I shot it and what it meant, and I really appreciated that. I realized then that story makes all the difference in the world.
Thanks to Dorsey & Whitney Trust for displaying my work. It’s a blessing to see it as it was meant to be.

Grateful for a family willing to spend their morning helping me unbox these works. Most of these images were captured never imagining they would one day be displayed, but simply out of a desire to preserve a moment, something beautiful God had granted me the privilege of seeing.

From photographs taken 20 years ago to those captured just last month, these images span the course of my career. Yet when I look at them together, I see something far greater than a collection of my own work. I see a testament to the endless creativity of God.

my daughter wanted me to photograph the statue of David for her so she could paint some iconic images of local Sioux Falls. Ok.... NO problem! 😜
