FALL MINIS ARE THIS WEEK!!!!

I am so excited to get to capture so many families this coming week/weekend!

Please make sure to double check your session date and time! I was just chatting with a family and they had signed up for a time but did not receive an email after booking which lead to the time slot not being officially booked! This then lead to a double booking for the time slot! So PLEASE check and make sure you received a confirmation email, and if you did not, reach out to me asap!

Some things to check/do before your session:
- Arrive at least 5 minutes before your session time
-Dress for the weather, it can go either way and I want you to be comfortable during our quick session!
-Wear shoes that you can safely walk in when it comes to a non-level terrain.
-Please make sure babies are fed right before the session to help with temperament
-If you are bringing a pet with you, please keep them on a leash

REMINDER:
Fall Minis will be located at Kensington Runestone Park (Discovery location) this year due to poison ivy overtaking our normal location!

There are a couple spots left if anyone needs a quick family photo session for Christmas cards!

How ADORABLE is she? It was so sweet getting to capture this new season of life for the Smith Family and all the love that already surrounds this little girl.

And of course, we had to include their doggie too! 😂🐶 Looks like he’s officially going to have to share the “most loved baby” title now that there’s a new little girl in town! 🥰

So thankful I got to freeze these sweet moments for you guys! 💕

🍂 FALL MINI LOCATION UPDATE! 🍂

I have a little location change for my Fall Minis, and I wanted to make sure everyone knew ahead of time!

Due to my yearly Fall Mini location being FULL of poison ivy this year, I’ve decided to move our sessions to Kensington Runestone Park! (Runestone Hill)

While I’m bummed to leave our usual spot, I truly want everyone to be able to enjoy their quick 10-minute session without worrying about where they can (and absolutely CANNOT 😂) stand! Keeping everyone safe and comfortable is much more important to me than sticking with a location just because it’s what we’ve always done.

And honestly, I think this new location is going to be GREAT! 🤍

📍 Kensington Runestone Park
🚗 Only about 23 minutes from Alexandria (just a few minutes farther than our original location)!
🌾 More areas to choose from if the wind decides to make an appearance
🍁 Lots of options for beautiful fall photos
🚻 AND there is a bathroom on-site… because if you have little kids, you KNOW that can be a major bonus! 😂

My goal is always to provide a location where we can get beautiful photos while everyone feels comfortable and safe, especially with these quick sessions where we don't have time to spend worrying about where we're stepping!

If this location change doesn't work for your family, please don't hesitate to message me! I completely understand that a location change can affect plans, and I'm happy to chat with you about it. ❤️

(Picture below shows where the new location will be once you turn onto the park road that brings you up to the park building. Instead of turning to go up to the building, you will go right, and follow that road up to the hill!)

Wow, it’s been a minute since I’ve shared some pictures around here! 🙈

Now that I’m finally starting to catch up on my list of galleries to edit, I’m going to sneak in a few posts from some sweet sessions I haven’t had a chance to share yet!

Starting off strong with little Baker. 💙

This little guy is SO loved, especially by his big sisters! 🥹 It was so much fun capturing these sweet newborn moments right in the comfort of their own home. There’s just something so special about documenting those first days in a place where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.

And gosh… was little Baker adorable! 🥰💙

🍂 FALL MINIS ARE COMING! 🍂

Fall is quickly approaching, which means it’s almost time for one of my favorite things… FALL MINIS! 🧡🍁📸

This year, I’ll be offering Fall Mini Sessions on Friday evening, September 25th & Saturday, September 26th! ✨ I’ll be sharing the sign-up link within the next couple of days, so keep an eye out! 👀

A little scheduling update from me, too! 🤎 I’ll be closing my booking calendar for the month of August. My schedule has been wonderfully busy, and I also have quite a few personal family events happening that I want to make sure I’m fully present for. ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, don’t worry! I still have some openings in September and October, so there are plenty of opportunities to get those family, senior, couples, or milestone photos on the calendar! 🍂

I just had all the feels after leaving this session! Kayla was absolutely GLOWING, and just the love that was felt between this family was contagious! And to top it all off, we were able to capture these special moments in a beautiful greenhouse! (A BIG thank you to Miltona Greenhouses) 🌸

I know this precious little girl has already made her appearance, but boy did she have some special people eagerly awaiting her arrival! 💕

One night. All the excitement. Memories that’ll last forever!

Prom is more than just getting dressed up, it’s the laughter on the way to pictures, the excitement of seeing everyone all dressed up, the endless photos with friends, and soaking in one of those moments you’ll look back on for years to come.

So thankful I got to capture a little piece of this unforgettable night!
