I know Rum River Creative Co. has been a little quiet lately, but I promise I haven’t forgotten about this page, all of your support, or how much I absolutely love photography. ❤️
Life has just been… LIFE lately. We spent some unexpected time at Children’s Hospital last week with my daughter as we begin navigating life with epilepsy. Thankfully, she’s doing well! Between family life and staying incredibly busy with our auction company, Kackshaws, my editing and posting time has definitely taken a bit of a backseat.
BUT — I’m still taking photos. I’m still creating. And I definitely haven’t lost my passion for old buildings, small towns, history, forgotten places, and all of those little details that make me stop and grab my camera.
And **Hometown Braham** is still very much in the works!
I’ve been slowly collecting photos, stories, history, little landmarks, and everyday details that make this town feel like home. There’s something special about the places we drive past every day without thinking twice — the buildings, signs, streets, gathering places, and familiar corners that quietly become part of our lives.
I want Hometown Braham to feel like more than a collection of pretty pictures. I want it to preserve a little piece of our town as it is right now — its history, its personality, and all of the things that make Braham, Braham!
And right now, I’m also putting together my showcase of the **Grant House Hotel & Masonic Lodge in Rush City**, and I am SO excited to finally start sharing these photos with you. There is so much history, character, beauty, and mystery within these buildings, and this collection has become something really special to me.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along, supported my work, shared my posts, encouraged me, and stuck around even when I disappear for a little while.
Rum River Creative Co. isn’t going anywhere.
I’m just over here juggling approximately 47 things at once. 😂
**More coming very soon.**
