I'm sharing this because it is very important that it is clearly stated what this is. This is an investment firm buying a portion of your homes value. As a home owner you WILL lose money from this and will likely need to sell the home to cover the amount that you were given. The amount also grows with the homes value so they get a return on investment and you loose equity.

And if this were to become a common option it will artificially raise the cost of homes further hindering first time homebuyers from being able to afford a home.
