Maternity will forever be one of my favorite things to capture
There is something so sacred to me about a woman carrying a soul that has not yet touched this Earth.
To really think about it… a woman has the ability to carry life from a realm we cannot see nurture that soul within her own body, and then bring that baby Earthside into the living world.
That is powerful
That is sacred.
That is something I will never look at as ordinary.
There is a whole little soul inside of her that the world has never met yet. A face nobody has seen. A voice nobody has heard. A life that is already deeply loved before their feet ever touch the Earth
And women get to be the vessel that brings that life here.
How incredible is that?
It was such a pleasure getting to capture this mama in that sacred in between. That space where she is still carrying her baby within one world while preparing to introduce them to ours.
And with summer winding down these Southern evenings have been giving us some of the most incredible skies warm light and beautiful views.
