There’s something really special about getting to watch a family grow. 🤍

Six months ago, I photographed this sweet girl as a tiny newborn, curled up and brand new to the world. Now she’s full of smiles, personality, and already being lifted up by the two people who love her most.

Getting to see families again as the months (and babies!) grow is one of my favorite parts of this job. Repeat clients mean I’m not just capturing photos... I’m getting little glimpses into your story as it unfolds. And that is such an honor.

From newborn snuggles to airplane giggles… I can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings for this sweet family.

There’s something really special about wedding days that never gets old for me. 🤍 It’s the nervous excitement while getting ready. The deep breaths before walking down the aisle. The way hands squeeze a little tighter during the vows.

So many of these moments take me right back to the emotions and memories of my own wedding day... the joy, the anticipation, the love that fills every corner of the day. Being in that space, even if brief, again and again is such a gift.

By the end of the day, I don’t feel like “just the photographer.” I’ve laughed with you, cried with you, celebrated right alongside you, and gotten to know you in such a real way. When you spend one of the most meaningful days of your life together, it’s impossible not to feel connected. Honestly, a lot of my couples feel more like friends by the end of it all. 🥹

I’m so grateful to be trusted with these moments. To witness the love, the joy, the quiet in-between glances, and the full-on celebration. It’s an honor I cherish deeply. ♡︎

I realized I’ve shared a lot of photos here… but not much of me. So since it’s the start of a new year…

Hi! I’m Deserae, the person behind In Time Photography.

Photography has been part of my life for a long time, but what’s kept me here isn’t just taking pictures, it’s the meaning and connection behind them. I care deeply about preserving the moments that are easy to overlook while you’re living them. The in-between stuff. The real smiles. The way your people look when they’re completely themselves. Whether it’s a growing family, a couple marrying the love of their life, finally reaching senior year, or just because, each session makes me more passionate about what I do.

This photo is me stepping out from behind the camera for once. I’m really grateful for everyone who’s trusted me with their memories over the years, and for those I haven’t met yet, I’d love to!
