Over the weekend I got a chance to do photo something new, a shootout! It was a dynamic envirnonment with difficult lighting and atmosphere - but those elements also yeilded some cool shots. (pun intended)

Fun fact about me is that I love collecting (read: hoarding) old lenses. They have so much character and personality. You have to be patient with them, most of the ones I have collected do not have auto focus. It takes more time, but the images they produce can be a little bit magical.
This photo was taken in the middle of Bozeman, off of Davis and Baxter - but you would never know if. The perspective change of this 300mm lens makes the Bridgers look like the Andes, right in our own backyard.
