Hartmann Photography Bozeman wedding photographer capturing natural, timeless moments through guided storytelling. True to color, genuine, and full of heart.

I help adventurous couples feel relaxed and confident so their love and laughter shine in every photo. Hello, my name is Josh Hartmann. I have been dabbling in photography for 10+ years now but have recently decided to take my love of photography and join the profession. I am still working on my style and have been learning a lot with my recent photo shoots. I love capturing those essential moments using natural lighting. I don’t have a studio yet but prefer to have the photo shoots outdoors since we are in Montana. If you would like to know more I am very easy to get ahold of. I am looking forward to working with you

I bought my first Frii Designs TriLens about eight years ago, and it has been one of the most reliable pieces of photography gear I own. So when the new TriLens V2 showed up, it had a pretty high bar to clear. 📸

Eight years of trust is hard to argue with.

The most complicated part of changing lenses is apparently the walk. 😂 The Frii Design TriLens holder keeps three lenses ready to go so I can swap quickly and get right back to shooting.

Would you read your vows in front of everyone, or save them for a moment with just the two of you?

The moment they officially became husband and wife. 🤍

These are the moments I love capturing most. The anticipation, the first kiss, and that look immediately afterward when it finally sinks in.

Planning a wedding in Montana? I would love to tell your story.

Your engagement photos do not need to look like everyone else’s. Choose a place that feels like you, then forget about the camera and enjoy each other. 📚🤍

If I trust my TriLens enough to switch lenses over water, that should tell you everything you need to know about how much I trust this setup. 😂📸

This is why I’ll always steal a few minutes for golden hour wedding photos. 🌄

Forget the bouquet toss. THIS is where wedding guests get competitive. 😂

Be honest… are you watching the couple, or are you waiting for me to eat it walking backwards? 😂📸

Sneak peak of my gear set up. I also thought this was pretty funny/not funny.
