My name is Andy Woodward and I am a 19 year old photographer based in California. My interest in photography began at age 10, when I put together every penny I had to purchase a small camera, but it remained only an interest for several years. It wasn't until my last few years in high school when this interest quickly and unexpectedly became a passion. By age 17, I realized that I wanted to be a p

hotographer and I committed to that dream. I have since moved to Bozeman, Montana, where I am pursuing Business Marketing and Photography degrees at Montana State University. While attending school, I am simultaneously expanding my business while continuously being inspired by the beautiful state. SATURATION vol. 1

not really sure how to put my thoughts into words, but here are a few of my favorite surf clips from the winter on the north shore.

exactly one year ago linked me with for what become the beginning of everything it feels like. still kinda blows my mind how much had to align to lead up to that point. invited me out for a week, .in.mt convinced me to go, .run.fly let me stay longer, opened my eyes to the possibilities here, gave me a reason to stay (THEEE DAYS before I was supposed to fly home), and .sykes_studios and .redd gave me a place to stay. and year later it still feels like just the beginning. kinda tripping out right now haha. I will always be incredibly grateful for everyone who I’ve crossed paths with along the way 🖤

Our Story

Andy Woodward is an outdoor photographer and filmmaker based out of both California and Montana. Throughout his life, the outdoor world has played a significant role in his development and self-discovery. Consequently, his passions have all been deeply rooted in the outdoors, including surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and paragliding. But, until he was introduced to a camera, no one activity could ever fully capture him. Pursuing film and photography allowed him to connect the things he loved with a passion so grand he chose to center his career on it. Andy now studies Photography and Business Marketing at Montana State University where he simultaneously does what he loves at REI, Outside Bozeman Magazine, Benshi Creative, and TOFU.
