I have been photographing the Lexima family for years now, and every single session reminds me why I fell in love with this profession in the first place. 🥹
Watching their children grow has been such a privilege. Every year they are a little taller, a little wiser, and their personalities shine a little brighter. As someone who documents life for a living, getting to witness that story unfold is incredibly special.
We live in a world that moves so fast. We rush from one responsibility to the next, from one milestone to another, constantly chasing what comes next. Then one day you look up and realize another year has quietly passed.
Your little ones have lost another tooth. They’ve grown a few more inches. Your husband has a few more laugh lines. You’ve changed too. Time never slows down.
Family photographs ask us to do something we rarely allow ourselves to do. They ask us to pause.
For one evening, the phones stay tucked away. The endless to do lists can wait. It’s just your family laughing together, exploring, cuddling, playing, and being present. Then, long after that day is over, those moments become part of your family’s story forever.
Recently, Krystal shared every session we’ve photographed together, from their very first one until today. I won’t lie, it made me emotional. Looking at those images side by side was such a beautiful reminder that while time is fleeting, photographs have the incredible ability to hold onto the moments we wish we could relive.
