built in August of 1967 is back out on the road, after recieving refurbishments. MARC 71 leads CSXT P934-11 east through Boyds, MD. The MARC test train traversed CSX's Metropolitan, Old Main Line, and Capital Subdivisions. Consisting of a single GP39PH-3C and four Kawasaki Bi-Levels.

If you travel the entire route, the trip length is approximately 2,200 miles and takes about 45 hours to complete with stops in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
