The Edith-E on Lomo Earl Grey 100.

I rarely photoshop my film scans but I’ve always loved this photo and wanted the boat to look like it was floating through the landscape. My digital days of compositing and extreme Photoshop edits are long behind me so I’m a bit rusty but I love how it turned out. Definitely going to print it 🙌

I love seeing my youngest brother with his newborn son. It brings me back to when Stevie was first born which hasn't even been four years yet feels like a lifetime ago. Stevie is so adventurous, witty, and loving - I love being her dad and love seeing the person she's becoming!

As of yesterday, I am officially in my late 30's. 36 is late 30's, right or is it still mid 30's?

This double exposure of myself in my parents' attic is one of my personal favorites from this year. I like it because it turned out much better than I ever expected it to, which in some ways, made photography feel new and exciting again - like when I first started. It inspired a personal project where I’m going to recreate my favorite photos from the first year with a camera which all started here in Ohio in 2006.

The past month I’ve felt closer to Stevie than ever before. We’ve just really been connecting which has a lot with the fact that we now live in our place, a place we can call home. Stevie literally talks about how happy she is to live in our “brick house” on a daily basis which is such a great reminder of how blessed we are.

These photos of Stevie were captured on the last couple frames of a roll of TMAX p3200. This was the film I used to photograph Stevie’s birth and to this day is my go to documenting everyday life with her.

I took these with a Canon Rebel T2 • 40mm pancake. Processed by and a big thinks to for sending me a few rolls of this film!

Four months ago we packed up and moved cross country from Sacramento California to Northwest Ohio and as of last week, we are proud homeowners in Bowling Green! It's amazing to look at these two photos - the last family photo in our old place and the first ever family photo in our new place which Stevie calls "the brick house" (it's brick). We've been busy unpacking, painting, remodeling, etc but I’ve been trying to document it so more photos are coming soon!
