Haley and Braden’s story is so cool! started practicing martial arts with .e.worthington dad, Marty joked that he thought Braden was there to learn karate, but quickly realized there was something with these two! Now they’re both black belts under Marty and it’s come full circle.

It’s been almost 2 weeks of fulltime photography, it’s been huge, different, full of change, full of oh s**t can I pay the bills, will I succeed and every other emotion you can imagine stuffed into one!

The hardest adjustment has been the scheduling. For almost 18 years it was waking up around 5:30amd work was 7-4. Now I get to wake up, make coffee and try to help the kiddos get ready ( which I quickly realized I was just messing up the wife’s routine with them lol). So I usually just chill and take it in until I GET TO TAKE THEM TO SCHOOL NOW. I’ve been so pumped about this!
The amount of “you’ve got this” “you’ll do great” “I’m so happy for you” I’ve gotten has been nothing short of amazing and not a one of them has gone unnoticed. I take it all in and it just helps me believe in myself that much more! So THANK YOU to everyone who has wished me well! Everyone, seriously every single person who has ever allowed me to take their picture. If it were not for you, none of this would be possible!! I’d love to be the guy who takes your pics one day!

Dang….

We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320video, passed away last night. We are in a state of shock.

Kyle’s passion for motorsports inspired millions of people around the world and we will never forget what he has done to grow our beloved sport. Kyle was a beam of light at every gathering… his enthusiasm, kindness, and creativeness was contagious.

Let us pray that Kyle is in a better place.

Going full time is a HUGE step for me. Taking a leap of faith for something your passionate about is scary! Over the past 5+ years each client has breathed life into something I love to do and it ls a way for me to provide couples, mommas, families etc with snapshots of core memories to look back on!

Semi long post. When I first got a camera I was obsessed with trying to make the next cool image or trying to figure out how to make what I shot look like people I idolized at the time. I spent hours upon hours chasing my kids around the backyard snapping pics and anything else I could. I was consumed by it.
All while this was starting to form a foundation, I still continued my normal work life that’s been a part of my family for four generations. We work with Caterpillar heavy equipment. A business my great grandfather started in Ashtabula, Ohio. Just drive to Lake Erie in Ohio as far north as you can go and that’s Ashtabula!
It’s a business, a job, a way of life and almost always been all family (except a few who are like fam) something I feel like I sometimes took for granted. Like anything change is inevitable and the time has come to grow one thing from another.
This is something I’ve been so excited about, something I’ve worked really hard on, something I hoped my daughters would see being built and realize you can do anything no matter the circumstances. Something that’s also equally as scary, leaving a guaranteed check to support my family with something I’m so passionate about. Reid Wilkinson Photography is going FULL TIME and I honestly don’t know what it will look like!
The last five years have been 2 full time jobs, trying to still be a dad, husband, be present and it’s been a HUGE learning curve. I’m excited to be able to do things like take my daughters to school now, pick them up, hell maybe even volunteer for a school party! Lol.

A few changes will be happening! 1 my turnaround times have always been a touch longer because of the above, that won’t be an issue any more. I’m up for taking on anything and building something that pushes me out of my comfort zone and allows me to grow. So I need YOU to keep me in mind for anything photo you might need and if you are unsure, please reach out and let’s talk!! I’m always up for a coffee or gardening, or if a round of golf is your thing let’s do it! I want to say thank you to everyone who has trusted me for the last 5 years and allowed me to walk into their lives for a bit to capture their story.
