I have a love of photographing children & families with a goal of capturing the everyday moments and connections between them - moments that will mean something now & still in years to come. I have worked to improve my skills since my first son was born to help remember all of the small details of childhood that are so important 'now' but that may fade as a memory without a photo and its permanenc

e. I love how a photo evokes the emotions you had when it was taken and helps you to relive that time. A photo promotes conversation and connections across a family when it is reflected upon . I love that photography makes me slow down and focus on the little things - what my child in interested in, what makes them giggle, what their hands look like, how do their footprints change over time, how they manage to keep their eyes open with such long eyelashes. I am also a Pediatric Physical Therapist and have worked with children of all abilities and personalities, and my goals are to help them be kids and to feel accomplished. My aspiration with photography is that the magic and fun of childhood can emerge in the photos that are taken to preserve their uniqueness and their 'now'.

Senior week for our town has arrived ❤️. I had the privilege to hang out with some fabulous individuals at the start of this year to capture who they are in photos….when all of the unknowns were exciting and scary and a bit stressful. These sessions seem like they just happened and yet it also feels like a whole lifetime has passed with how much they have changed in such a short time. We are celebrating the CLASS OF 2026 as they complete senior year, GRADUATE, and look to their near futures!

First up: ABBY ❤️! Congratulations on graduation tonight and on reaching some big goals ~ your future patients are lucky to have you, and I am personally pretty proud of you. Thank you for making your session one that kept the memories accumulating, and thank you for being such a great friend ❤️!

Class of 2025! I am so excited for your senior year! It comes with so many emotions, fun - and stress, accomplishments, and reflection. It ends with a yearbook that has a photo of you that should represent who you are well. They say it goes by fast...Yep. It does.

As I catalog through the blips of memories that make up my kids' childhoods, I realize how much has happened, though. How many fabulous ups and sad downs, how many events, and how much homework has brought them to this big point in their lives like the other graduates celebrating this Spring. We have a high school senior and 8th grade graduate moving forward to big next steps this Fall, and it's a time to be proud and commemorate the remarkable time.

Cap & gown and 8th grade portrait mini sessions are happening over the next few weeks to mark these big times in our kids' lives.

The graduating class of 2024 can show off their cap & gown and some gear that shows off their next steps (individually or with friends).

The upcoming class of 2028 (aka the 8th graders): you are marking the middle phase of the road - you are about to enter a fast four years of school after finishing the beginning of your school years! These mini sessions are quick and efficient but are just enough time to capture that fabulous personality of yours.

Local 8th Grade Classes of 2023: Your celebrations are underway!

Let's celebrate your achievements with photos that will show off who you are now while you look ahead to your next big steps...Parents/guardians, this is such a big milestone for your children, and it should be remembered.

Portrait sessions begin this weekend for this special group - they didn't get big 5th grade in-person events, they started middle school in masks, and here we are ready for high school! These sessions are efficient for the camera-friendly, shy, or resistant so that you can move on to your next activity or celebration, but you will have these moments captured to look back on before they change again ❤️.

High school graduation - just saying the words evokes every emotion in students and the ones who love them. It’s literally a time of anticipation and excitement for what is next and a time of sadness for what time is left behind. As a parent, it’s crazy fast to experience how quickly your child makes it to this stage, on the cusp of independence and all of the exciting parts of the next stage. As a student, it’s fun and scary and a chance to move towards where your heart pulls you.

The NAHS class of 2023 ❤️🖤 graduated last night, and it’s a time of celebration and appreciation and awe at how fabulous these young adults are and what they will become!

Local friends/seniors, I am booking sessions for the graduating student in your cap and gown with the option to also show off where your next steps will take you in any swag you/they may have - while you are still relishing in your high school accomplishments!

Life keeps passing quicker than I anticipate which brings me to my post.

As school comes to an end in the most typical way in 3 years - how strange is that?! - we have an 8th grade class that is graduating and moving on to high school after making it through a middle school career like no other.
As a mom of 3, I am realizing more and more how fast things change and truly important it is to take opportunities to celebrate each stage.
This upcoming week many of our 8th graders will be completing middle school, and they'll unofficially become high schoolers. To commemorate their accomplishments, I am holding 8th grade portrait mini sessions to local friends. Creating moments that can be reflected upon in the near and far future is a timeless treasure.
