Our best buddy Whodini has unfortunately hopped over the rainbow bridge. Fortunately he passed peacefully in his sleep but we were not expecting his sudden departure from this realm and are crushed that we weren’t able to say our goodbyes properly. 😢
This cardboard loving, couch pooping little escape artist has been with us pretty much the entirety of our life here in Colorado. He was our first of many rescues and was the best older brother to our other pets that anyone could ask for.
He was our shop security guard for many years, greeting customers whenever he heard the door bell ring. He loved the vibrations from the subwoofers and would plop down right in front of them whenever music was being played. He was the life of the party and he put a smile on countless faces over the years.
For some strange reason, the things he liked to chew on most were the most valuable items we owned, but although I was mad at him at the time, I will now forever cherish the bite marks he left on many of our belongings. I always joked he had great taste in records because the ones he chose to chew were the most expensive ones we had. 🤣
He left similar marks on our shoes, clothes, bags, official documents & so much more and we will always be reminded of him from the destruction he left in his trail. But really, he was just such a smart boy and was a loyal companion that helped get us through some really hard times over the years.
We loved him deeply and it’s safe to say that he will never be forgotten. Belle, Simba, Dash and all us humans will miss him dearly and it’s going to be hard to not see him relaxing in his little corner of the house. It’s not going to feel like home without him there.
Never take the time you have with your pets for granted. We wish we could have just one more day with our little cuddle buddy.
Long live the legend of Whodini!
