Thank you so much to everyone who joined us last weekend for our photowalk around City Point Beach and Castle Island!

It is finally time for Leica Boston’s first photowalk of the year! Bring any camera, a good pair of walking shoes, and get ready to make friends and great photos.

On Saturday, May 16th at 3PM instead of starting in Back Bay, meet us directly at City Point Beach. The meeting point will be on William J. Boulevard, at the Pleasure Bay Flag Pole. The exact location is linked in our bio. From there, we’ll walk the causeway, hitting Head Island, and ending on Castle Island where there’s so much to explore. City Point Beach can easily be reached by taking the #9 bus from Arlington St.

We can’t wait to see what we images we create together!

Calling all photographers in Boston to join in on another challenge!
This weeks challenge is... Commuters!
- Commuters waiting at a bus stop or on the train platform make interesting subjects. You can even capture them on a bicycle, a bus, or train. Seek to capture the mood they are in and also try to show some environment.

Back at it again with another challenge!

This weeks challenge is… Shadows!
- Take a walk on a sunny day and concentrate on the shadows you’ll find. Frame your image without the person or object causing the shadow. Experiment by rotating images 90 degrees or 180. Shadows are longer in the early-morning/late afternoon.

Feel free to stop by & to look at some of work as an example! We have both books Al Sol and Zoi available for purchase and viewing!

Time for another Leica Store Boston Photo Challenge! Get your cameras ready!
Rules are the following:
This weeks challenge is Through the Window:
- Take your street pictures through window glass.Try to choose glass that’s slightly wet or frosted so you don’t get a perfectly clear result and include interesting reflections. Also, experiment with glass from a picture frame or windows of cars or trams.
