Not every image from a race weekend is action on the grid or track.

Some belong to the story around a race and the culture that comes with it.

The quiet ecosystem that surrounds race weekends.

CKNA Spring Nats at Charlotte Motor Speedway, that’s a wrap.

Amazing to see everyone again! Little bit of everything this weekend with the weather matching a moody vibe and losing an hour of sleep.

Despite that, so worth it every time. Be sure to keep an eye on CKNA's National FB page for weekend galleries from the amazing Domenic from Rocket Gear Media.

Next up for me is 12H of Sebring!

CKNA Spring Nats at Charlotte Motor Speedway Rounds 1 & 2

Here are a few of the moments that caught my eye today from morning to night.

Special thanks to Dave Netherwood for snapping me on grid with a new motorsport photographer in the making 😀

CKNA Spring Nationals
Charlotte Motor Speedway

Practice laps, handshakes and hugs, and the sound of four-strokes warming up.

For many of these drivers, the last time I saw them was the Grands at New Castle.

A winter has passed since then. Different helmets. Taller kids. New teams and privateers.

Motorsport has a funny rhythm.

You disappear for a few months and then suddenly you’re back together again like no time passed at all.

Really good to see these racers and families again.

Earlier this year I applied to a juried Boston photography exhibition.

After two rounds of review, I just heard that I was selected as an exhibiting photographer for the show.

Grateful for the opportunity and excited to share more once the exhibition is publicly announced.

But in the meantime, see you in Charlotte for CKNA Spring Nats this weekend!

Last catchup post - this time adding in some of my work at the IMSA Rolex24 in Jan.

If you watched the race, you know fog was a long time guest during the race. You'll see it as a part of some of the images intentionally given it was the cause of 6:30 hours of yellow flag, longest in the 64 year history.

We'll start with a BW observational perspective but I can't leave out beautiful endurance cars in color so those are toward the end of this post.

As always, I truly appreciate everyone who reaches out about photo packages. If you’ve followed my work over the past season, you know I’ve never offered individual driver packages. My commercial photography work has been with motorsport series, teams, and sponsors.

This season I’m dedicated to a larger motorsport photo documentary initiative across karting, endurance, rally, and hill climbs. As a result, I’m not offering individual photo packages or commercial work.

If I capture you out there at a race and share it on socials, you’re absolutely welcome to repost. I just ask that you tag my photography page and keep the image as it was created.

Hi everyone - Holly here!

So you may have noticed a page name change - I was trying to run 2 sister brands last year, 180 Action Shots and 360 Motorsport Media.

For 2026, I decided to consolidate and go with the brand that best describes my work and vision. Still me out there shooting, I'll just be in 360 motorsport media gear instead of 180 action shots.

Most of my work still lives over on IG, to the point that I almost shut this page down, but I had some messages on IG asking me to keep this one too since not everyone is on instagram.

Catching you up - this year I'm pretty evenly split between karts and cars. Karts, national level only, with select CKNA, SKUSA, and STARS races

Cars across IMSA endurance, Indy open wheel, American rally, Pikes Peak climb.

International rounds at Paul Ricard 12H in France, Barcelona 24H, and the Mexico GP.

Excited for what this year holds and to see everyone again at the track!

I'll do a couple of catchup posts here - one that is karting from working on my 2025 portfolio, the other from the recent IMSA Rolex24 at Daytona.

Thanks for the continued support everyone, can't wait to see you again at the track!

My first time shooting Rolex 24.
Worth every frozen fingertip before the weather finally warmed.

I was splitting time between Rotax in Orlando and Rolex 24 at Daytona in the same weekend. Two races. Two worlds. One very tired photographer.

I planned to shoot through the night in Daytona, chase the headlights until sunrise, but schedules have a way of laughing at plans.

Still worth every mile between cities.

You’ll see a mix in this set. Some crisp. Some blurred with intention.

My rule is simple. If one detail on the car or driver holds focus, I let the rest run wild creatively.

Still thinking on 2026. Karts. Cars. Maybe more IMSA. We’ll see which story the year writes.

For now, Daytona lives here in a few frames.
Cold fingers. Fast cars. Worth it. Every time.

Rotax RMC in Orlando. A weekend the karts decided to lift off and one to take flight and land safely back on track.

RMC Rotax at Orlando Kart Center was my first time shooting this series and this track.

I remember the first big lift I caught through the viewfinder.

One frame. Then another. Then suddenly way too much of my card was wheels in the air - see the second image.

I did manage to catch some other action including an F1 legend and his son out there IYKYK

Good luck to everyone in Bahrain for the 2025 Rotax Grand Finals.

Jealous in the best way and hoping next year takes me international somewhere too. Not sure where but open to ideas 😅

A year on the road. A camera that never seemed to stop moving.

As the year winds down I’m sharing a look back at some of my fav images I shot this year by series. Every series has its own pace and its own personality. In 2025, I wanted to feel all of it out before deciding where I ‘fit’ for 2026 so I was on the road. A lot.

2025 started with CKNA in Jacksonville for Winter Nats and carried through Spring Nats in Charlotte, Summer Nats at MCC and GN9 at NCMP. This collection covers winter, spring and summer nationals.

CKNA is pretty special to me. It is the only four stroke series I shoot and the only time I see some of the racers, teams and families who were there when I first stepped into this motorsport photography world.

More fav snaps posts from this year are coming up. RMC Orlando. IMSA Rolex24 Daytona. SKUSA. CKNA East. STARS. USPKS. Radical Lime Rock. USF Road America. GN9. Supernats.
