12 years ago today, my world changed forever. This day still carries a heaviness that never truly leaves, Some days it’s quieter, some days it’s loud—but honoring my dad this way always brings joy!
If you knew him, you felt it. His kindness, his presence, the way he made you feel like you mattered He had this rare gift—when you were with him, you felt like the most important person in the room. He loved deeply and gave freely, without asking for anything in return.
This year is especially bittersweet. Experiencing this day as a parent now—holding my daughter and feeling a love so deep has given me a whole new understanding of grief, love, and the legacy we leave behind.
