The warm, sun soaked hues of early fall on Cape Cod.

Olivia and Ryan’s wedding day was one to remember, from a wandering magician to the most beautiful light along the coast. It was such a joy to spend the past year getting to know this incredible family and to be part of a day filled with so much joy!

When the bride wants hot dogs, you get her hot dogs!

Fiona and Carter wanted their wedding to feel different from the many celebrations they had attended as guests, so they created a day that felt entirely like them. Rather than following the usual wedding-day traditions, they skipped formal family and wedding party portraits and spent part of cocktail hour at a bar with their closest family and friends. Fiona carried that same easy spirit throughout the day, and, I’m not sure I saw her in shoes once.

Their wedding was a celebration that felt relaxed and wonderfully carefree. The evening unfolded with plenty of laughter, an abundance of love, and even a wandering magician making his way through the crowd.

There is no greater compliment than being asked to photograph the wedding of someone so loved by a person you admire.

Last year, Emilie Pickering | Boston Wedding Photo + Film invited me to Hawaii to photograph her cousin’s wedding, and it was truly the most beautiful weekend. So much joy, so much love, and so much beauty in every moment, all made even more magical by the tropical paradise of Hawaii.

Beautiful Lily on her wedding day at her grandfather’s home along the Massachusetts coast.

It was so special to spend the evening at her parent’s waterfront estate, with two beautiful sailcloth tents set right along the water. We took their portraits at her grandfather’s gorgeous property, where her parents were married, surrounded by blooming hydrangeas and the most beautiful New England coastal-chic setting.
