5 Challenges on Set. Most people only see the final image.

Here's a look at some of the challenges that happen behind the scenes and what it takes to work through them. Whether we're in the studio or on location, these are the kinds of variables that can impact a shoot at any moment.

The final frame.

What started as 140+ individual adjustments. Moving furniture, swapping props, refining styling, and reshaping the light come down to a single image.

Every change had a purpose. Every person on set played a role.

This is the result of all those decisions coming together.

10 teams were flown to London for a game show. Only 8 made the final round. We didn't. But what started as a competition quickly turned into one of the best trips we've ever taken.

From Windsor Castle and the Tower of London to Soho, Camden Market, Covent Garden, and countless side streets in between, we found ourselves immersed in a city where history and modern life coexist in a way that's hard to describe until you see it for yourself.

Sometimes the best part of the journey isn't what you came for, it's everything that happens after.

🇬🇧 London, you were incredible.

Commercial photography misconceptions.

Some people think we “show up and take pictures.”

In reality, we’re solving problems in real time. Production flow, lighting shifts, timelines, continuity, color, reflections, set changes, merch swaps, client feedback, file structure, pacing, and making sure the product still translates the way it’s supposed to.

And that’s only part of it. The camera, and knowing how to use it alongside all the other tools on set, is just one piece of the job.

Behind the scenes.

140+ frames, constant adjustments. Moving furniture, swapping props, testing what works and what doesn’t, and reshaping the light as things shift. Not everything that works on set translates on camera.

Everyone plays a part. It only comes together because of it.

Final coming soon.

Amy Rose's S-Corp made it real.
The studio gave them a home.

Chelsea sees the big picture; Missy sees the details. Macro + micro, working the same frame.

This wasn’t about leveling up for show.
It was about building something that works.

Behind the scenes from our latest image update.

Good light does most of the heavy lifting; everything else is just a decision you commit to.

Sometimes that decision is sequins.

New on the blog.

We partnered with Birch Lane to photograph the Country Living collection in studio, built around material, form, and consistency across the full asset set.

This one is about how clean, controlled imagery still carries weight when it’s done right.
