I like to take ICM images at the ocean to come up with some interesting abstract compositions. This simple wave with the wind creating a mist off of the back of the wave made this one compelling.

You never really know!!!! There is no compelling story here. I was just a guy with a camera that lives by Mary Oliver's Instructions for life.

Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.

I saw a Rainbow, while looking at Gooseberry Island and shot a burst and a seagull flew into view. The 45 minutes before were the sounds, smells and feelings of Horseneck Beach. The 45 minutes after were the sounds smells and feelings of a Sunset... at Horseneck Beach. This shot was 1/1000 of a second in billions of opportunities to sit in peace, pay attention, be astonished and tell about it.
