Nearly 85% of all new clients who find you will do so through a social media page, not a website. That is, if you're even on social media. Why? Not all website services offer search engine optimization and those who do might not offer everything they should. Basically, SEO is how a website is found by entering certain keywords into a search engine. Sure, if someone types in the name of your company, they're likely to find you, assuming there aren't tons of other companies using the same name. It happens... a lot. Social media has SEO built-in and it also offers the wonder that is hash tags. Using a hash tag is easy. For example, if you type in the search bar, every single post with that hash tag will come up first. This is also why it's important to make sure that your hash tag is unique. Sure, websites offer more design options, but it should be more about substance over style. A crappy book with a glittery cover is still a crappy book, right? Just make sure you're active and keep posting interesting things. And don't forget those hash tags.
