Happy New Year everyone! I began the first day of 2024 with a Burrowing Owl that I happened to locate by chance and also with a rare Vermilion Flycatcher which is a beautiful bird. Saw some great birds in between and ended with an awesome sunset. More photography is one of my goals this year, it’s been tough to find time but will find some this year because I love photographing wildlife! Feel free to follow me on instagram for more content. Had the pleasure of visiting La Jolla, CA last night hoping to see some new sea lion pups since it’s pupping season! We got very lucky between the gorgeous scenery and the new pups. Enjoy 🌈

Had a fun photography morning! Really happy about my Bluebird shots because they are usually very fast and elusive. The second set are the Say’s Phoebe both still and in flight, they are fly catchers and swoop down to catch bugs. Next we have the California Towhee and finally two sleepy Greylag geese.

Most gorgeous 20 mile bike ride to see the wildflowers at Diamond Valley Lake in Helmut CA. The rain has made everything so lush and the wildflowers are popping. There are still snow capped mountains and it all comes together in a beautiful display!
