I’m a petite lady with crazy natural curly hair and glasses who likes to make people laugh, have a good time and relax. I love to read a lot, spend time with my daughter and husband, catch up on tv and movies, and listen to music. Places I can’t resist going into are book shops, cds and LPs shops, thrift/antique stores, and yarn stores. I truly believe that you can never have too many books and mu

sic in your life. Same goes for art in any, shape or form. Born and raised in New Jersey, I've lived in MA, Center City Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and then moved back to the land where I don't have to pump gas at the stations anymore! When I'm not making people look their best, I'm with my family or friends doing something fun or just hanging out. For me time, I'm watching something good on one of the endless choices of binge watching channels. I'm a bookworm, love to listen to music and podcasts, or be outside riding my horse with our daughter. After 25+ years on hiatus, this old equestrian is back in training for dressage and show jumping. I've always known in my spirit that I was meant to be creative, and then in art college, while I was a graphic design major, my teacher/student mentor said, "Deirdre, what are you doing?" She was right. So when I switched to the dark side(these were the days of film and darkrooms), she said, "FINALLY! I told you that you're a photographer!" Thank you Gabrielle, I'm still here, since that day you've shown me how to fly and I've never looked back. People inspire me the most, from all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and what they do. When I want a completely different opinion on something, I ask my ten year old daughter, and she'll be very honest with me like no other. Children have no filter and will tell it to you straight and this is an inspiration like no other, a true gift! I'm Deirdre, I make pictures, I'm an image maker, I make people happy with their self esteem and self-confidence.

Happy New Year everyone!

I’m announcing the closing of my photography business.

While I’m saddened to close, I’m also happy that I’ve found a full time job that I love unexpectedly.
We’re still grieving the death of my father when he passed in February 2024.

I’ve gone back to painting and the fine arts since 2019/2020 and I’m happy to say that I’m growing stronger again since my art college days. As for my horseback riding, this past year has been a roller coaster but I am looking forward to getting back on schedule.

Soon, I will be taking down this page and also the Facebook account that it’s linked to.

Look what I got for Christmas!!! Yeah… On Tuesday I was congested, didn’t think much of that. Then later in the day, a sore throat. Decided to get a PCR test at our local walk up pharmacy. Everyone else did as well. I then stayed in my room until I got the results. Everyone is negative, still waiting on one, but we’re pretty sure they’re negative. It feels like a bad head cold. No fever really. I have many health issues so a lot of the typical symptoms that many get, I have all the time. The good news is that I’m very mild. Thanks to the and I had to get the full Moderna dosage booster last month before most people. Typically you get only a half dosage, but I had to get the full. If I didn’t get any of those or just vaccinated without the booster, I would be far worse off. My specialists want me to get the infusion in 3 months, I don’t qualify for it now because I got my booster not long ago. So yay for science!!! This is as close as I’m allowed to everyone today. Once gifts are opened, then I’m to go back to my room and continue my quarantine. I have a good appetite, can taste everything but last night I freaked out because I lost my sense of smell. I’m hoping it’s because I’m super congested. Either way, I’m drinking a lot of fluids, taking DayQuil and NightQuil, Vicks, and resting. O2 is good, heart rate is fine. I’m lucky so far. But I won’t lie, this completely sucks with the timing. But today marks the halfway point of quarantine for me, Day 5 of 10. Praying that I stay mild. I’ll soon be out and about. Remember this variant is super contagious so if you think it’s a cold, get tested. If you’ve been in contact with anyone that appears to have a cold and you have no symptoms, get tested if for anything, a piece of mind. I let everyone know who I was in contact with.
