I’mmmmm baaaaacccckkkkk! Life has been a little crazy lately. I married the love of my life, switched positions and stores with my job, had to say goodbye to my dad, and just had to take some time to enjoy life since I was reminded how short it truly can be. But I’m back with a new camera and a new love for photography. Stay tuned for exciting things to come!

Best part of getting engaged to the love of my life? Getting to have this cutie as part of my family. My fiancé’s great niece recently turned 1 and I got to take her first birthday pictures! The camera loves her (and she loves me more than my fiancé!)

This family has always been like an extension of my own family, so when the time came for this guy to graduate, I couldn’t help but jump at the chance to photograph him.

I just want to brag on this little guy for a second. He’s had leukemia for almost half of his short life. Yet, with everything going on, he has some incredible spirits and is full of personality. Every time I had my camera up to take a picture he came running with a big smile to say cheese (photobombing and all). I’m so glad that I’ve known and loved him since before he was even born.
