I read a wonderful opinion piece today in the NY Times, "Seneca's Solution the Crisis of Attention." The solution? Focus on one idea per day.

My focus today is the beauty of rain. Lingering clouds in the valleys after a mountain shower. Drops of rain resting on a flower petal. The sound of rain while sitting on a covered porch. The permission to just sit and be.

Thanks to my lovely friend Kate Younger for allowing me to "focus" a bit in her garden.
