🎃🩸 Spooky Season Fun Alert! 🩸🎃

When your son insists on being Chucky and your husband volunteers to play the Terrifier… well, you lean all the way into it 😆 Let’s just say this might’ve been the creepiest (and most hilarious) session I’ve ever done!

Between the tattooed face stitches, eerie stares, and way too much laughter between takes — this shoot was such a blast to create. Horror-themed sessions like this remind me why I love photography so much — they’re unique, creative, and just plain fun.

I’m definitely down to do more sessions like this — so if you’re up for something spooky, weird, or wonderfully out-of-the-box… let’s make it happen! 👻📸

As a photographer, I thought taking newborn photos of my own baby would be easy… turns out I was wrong. 🤦‍♀️

Today’s session included:
✔️ 47 attempts at the “perfect swaddle”
✔️ 4 outfit changes (for him, not me)
✔️ At least 3 snack breaks mid-pose
✔️ One very bossy 2-week-old who clearly runs the show

So glad I gathered up the energy to capture these sweet moments 💙📸

I may be a professional photographer… but let’s just say newborns are a different ball game. 😅

Took on the challenge of doing photos of Boden when he was 2-weeks-old, and wow—props to the newborn photographers out there. Between the swaddling origami, baby wiggles, and timing everything around his nursing times, it felt more like a sport than a photo session. As you can see, I gave up on swaddling 🫠

But in the end, we captured some beautiful little moments that are so special to us. Not my usual genre, but I'm so glad I gave it a go 💙📸
