☀️Golden Hour☀️* Golden hour refers to the one hour after sunrise and one hour prior to sunset when the sun’s rays are longer and travel through more of the atmosphere resulting in a soft, warm, and flattering light with a yellow or red hue. This is my favorite time to capture portraits, and why most Florida Gulf Coast weddings take place an hour and 1/2 prior to sunset, allowing portraits to be captured during this beautiful light.

Golden hour portraits begin with light skies due to the sun’s backlight, and then transition into beautiful sunset images as the sky lights up with color as the sun is setting.
