It occurred to me that I hadn't flown my drone in quite a while, so I drove to my favorite spot on the Snake River to capture the sunset. The Guffey Bridge adds a little interest with it's partial reflection.

n the Bisti Badlands, there is an area known as "The Eggs", "Cracked Eggs" or "Alien Egg Garden". There are hundreds of these rock formations in all shapes and sizes. The third image looked like an alien torso and skull to me.

Our Action Photo Tours group spent the night at Shiprock with our Navajo guide, Kialo. Shiprock is a sacred site to the Navajo people and the Navajo name, TsΓ© BitΚΌaΚΌΓ­, means winged rock or rock with wings.
It was about 29 degrees, so it was quite chilly. Still, a fun night with a great group of photographers.

I'm sure most of you recognize this location from a famous movie. Here's a hint: this spot is known as Forrest Gump Hill, or Forrest Gump Point.
I'm headed to New Mexico tomorrow for a photography workshop with so thought I'd break up the drive by stopping in Monument Valley tonight.
Since this was on the way in, I had to stop for the shot. Standing in the middle of the highway is a little disconcerting, but most drivers were courteous and allowed us knuckleheads to stand in the middle of the road to get the shot.
