Hey everyone! If you haven't gone over to my new photography page,https://www.facebook.com/Alyssacarreraphotography/, please do! There are some exciting new things happening, like food photography! Here is something someone recently said about the book! It's so encouraging!
"I'm just looking at Detox for Life for the first time and its beautiful. A chef friend of mine had a weird superstition about cook books (of course this is so much more than that) but in her experience she said that if a cook book had really good foodie photography then it was almost always a good cook book. Well I've actually noticed that trend a bit even though you'd think it were a superficial judgement call. Anyway THESE pictures in here are gorgeous and enticing. If the superstition rings true that's just another plus to knock this gem out of the park! I'm really looking forward to finishing up this semester so I can devour this book cover to cover and I grabbed 4 for holiday gifts too."

Boise people, I have a two week window in November where I'll have a LEGIT camera and amazing lens on my hands! (I'm working on getting a better camera of my own someday here..)

This couple was super fun to work with and hilarious! They didn't even mind me singing "Back At One" by Brian McKnight while I stared straight at them.. that's always a plus.

I've had a few shoots since I last posted anything! I've been taking a moment of silence from social media due to a series of losses in my life. In honor of my thankfulness for friends around me, here is a photo of a freckled friend of mine and her Bean :)
