Anna and Joe set aside time on their wedding day to say private vows to one another. We snapped a few photos, but that’s not what it was about. It was about them, the words they shared, the memories they recalled through tears and laughter. It was about their future together.
Sometimes the photos we take and give to couples don’t tell the full story, but they tell just enough to help them remember the small things they may otherwise forget…the warm glow of the afternoon sun, the breeze coming through the door of the tea house, the place they shared their vows with each other, the way it felt to walk forward hand in hand to celebrate with the intimate group of the people they love most.

Heading into the first weekend of our “off season” and getting excited for some big personal projects we’ve had on our radar for some time. Last weekend we closed out our 2022 wedding season with one final Chicago wedding, and we can’t wait to serve more couples in Idaho, Chicago and more next year! We still have some availability for 2023 and we’d love to connect! 🥂

Every year for Halloween when I was a kid, my brothers and I would run around our own neighborhood trick or treating before meeting my cousin at my grandparents’ house. Halloween nights were always pizza nights with the Vanderzees, followed by intense candy sorting and trading in costume. The last few years Kaleb and I haven’t always gone trick or treating, but we do try to spend Halloween hanging out with someone we love 🎃
