Connection. We were created for it and we need it to survive. It’s a beautiful thing and Im here to capture it. Some of my favorite memories through my seasons of motherhood are remembered through photos of my babies; hands, toes, little dancing bodies, sweet features on their faces that have changed so much since they’ve grown.

Seasonal depression, are you going through it? I’ve experienced it before and I know that it can be debilitating. I honestly thought moving to a colder state with a longer winter would make me go through it again but I’ve got to say implementing a few things has helped tremendously (not to say that some days I don’t go through it, because I do)
1. A consistent workout routine. I really look forward to my time to move my body
2. Being creative everyday, if not everyday at least a few times a week
3. Schedule a lunch date, coffee date, or even a date with your girlfriend to sit down at your house, chat, drink something cozy, watch a movie, etc.
I hope these ideas help or give you inspiration for getting through the winter!

Happy December! I’m ready for all the magic of the season, the sparkle, the slow down, the time to make memories, holiday baking, crafts and cozy yummy food. My home is decked and I can’t believe I’ve already got most of my Christmas shopping done!

Even though this end of the year looks completely different for our family than last year looked. I’ll be honest , it’s been hard not being close to our loved ones but I’m going to thank Jesus for our blessings and praise Him for where He has brought us today. Let’s remember who we celebrate this Holiday season.
